About these rates

Current rates come from the free ExchangeRate-API, which publishes one set of mid-market reference rates per day; we cache each base currency for up to an hour. Historical figures are European Central Bank reference rates served by the Frankfurter API, published once per working day.

Use the converter for any amount between 20 major currencies, open a currency page such as USD, EUR or GBP to see its rate and inverse against every major currency, check two currencies side by side, or look back six months on the historical rates table. These are indicative mid-market rates: banks and card providers add a spread or fee on top.
